Euclid Techlabs and Euclid Beamlabs
Euclid actually consists of two companies. Euclid Techlabs created our core technologies utilizing high energy physics and energy sciences. Euclid Beamlabs was formed to focus on research and development of solutions and critical materials for use in these demanding applications. Together, they represent the cutting edge of innovation.
Big power in small packages
One touchstone of Euclid innovation is the delivery of high power and high performance in small packages: our low cost TEM upgrade, our HPHT and CVD diamonds and applications, our compact accelerator, and more. From the U.S. National Laboratories to customers in Europe and Asia, our unique expertise and capabilities are an important contributor to the advancement of global accelerator and materials technology.
Euclid achieves big breakthroughs and traction with a compact team of scientists and engineers who thrive on interdisciplinary collaboration. Not limited by the silos you find in big organizations, we give you direct access to an acclaimed team of scientists who develop out-of-the-box solutions at speed.
Management Team
Dr. Alexei Kanareykin, President/CEO
Dr. Alexei Kanareykin graduated from St.Petersburg University, Russia, M.S. in Physics and received his PhD in Physics in 1986 from St.Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI” and Sc.D. (Habilitation) from St.Petersburg State Unversity, Russia in 2012. He has held several positions at St.Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI” including Chair of the Physics Division. Since 1991 A. Kanareykin has worked in collaboration with Accelerator R&D, High Energy Physics Division, Argonne National Laboratory, and with Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Alexei Kanareykin is currently President and CEO of Euclid Techlabs LLC. He has been awarded research grants from the International Science Foundation 1995-1996, and the Civilian Research & Development Foundation 1996-1997, US DOE SBIR, Phase II 2002–current.
Dr. Chunguang Jing, Senior Vice President/CTO
Dr. Chunguang Jing received his Ph.D. in 2005 from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and joined Euclid Techlabs after graduation. He has also been a consultant at Argonne National Laboratory since 2005. Dr. Jing is responsible for implementation of research projects and customized products, and oversees the setup and normal operation of the fabrication/lab facility. He has, as a Principal Investigator, received numerous research grants from a variety of funding agencies, mostly concentrating on advanced accelerator concepts, the development of high power RF components, and beam sources. He has authored and co-authored a book chapter, book article, over 50 papers in refereed scientific journals, and more than 150 additional papers published in conference proceedings. He holds seven US patents.
Dr. Wade Rush, Director of Operations
Dr. Wade Rush attended the University of Kansas and received a M.A. degree in Mathematics and later a Ph.D. in Physics in 2017, focused on channeling radiation production and electron beam dynamics. Wade graduated from the United States Military Academy West Point in 1982 and served in the U.S. Army for over 22 years where he was responsible for running organizations of 400 soldiers under dynamic conditions. His experience includes planning responsive operations and logistics for organizations ranging up to 5000 soldiers in demanding environments. He was awarded an MMAS degree in 1996 that focused on dynamic decision making in multi-unit operations. After defending his Ph.D. thesis, Dr. Rush joined Euclid in 2017.
Dr. Ilya Ponomarev, Chief Business Development Officer
Dr. Ilya Ponomarev received his PhD in 2000 from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. He has more than 25 years experience as a scientific researcher in the fields of semiconductor physics and nano-science, with a publication record of more than 40 articles; including Science, Nature Physics, and Physical Review Letters. During 2004-2009 he worked at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC. He has more than six years of science policy and technology assessment experience as a program manager: for the DOD funding agency in 2008-2010, and at the Thomson Reuters Company in 2010-2014. Dr. Ilya Ponomarev is responsible for the development of power diamond electronics technology and overall business development and marketing strategies for Euclid Techlabs.
