Extensive experience
Euclid has extensive expertise in developing RF injectors. Our tech team can design, prototype, and build custom devices specific to your requirements. Below are some examples of components delivered to customers at U.S. national labs and globally.
Photoinjectors
1.5-cell photoinjector
High gradient (100MV/m) regime, optimized for performance (minimal energy spread OR emittance)
Features:
- Rep rate: 100 Hz RF pulse repetition rate
- Gradient: 100 MV/m
- Beam Energy: 3-4MeV
- Bunch Charge: determined by laser excitation (100 pC max.)
- Replaceable cathode
2.3-cell photoinjector
High brightness beam with high repetition rate (1 kHz) to boost the signal to noise ratio and reduce the data taking time in ultrafast microscopy.
Features:
- Rep rate: 1000 Hz RF pulse repetition rate
- Gradient: 60 MV/m
- Beam Energy: 4 MeV
- Bunch Charge: determined by laser excitation (100 pC max.)
- Replaceable or fixed cathode
1.5-cell SRF photoinjector
Continuous wave (CW) operation reduces current requirements, thus providing extraordinary beam quality. Requires only 2W RF power, making it suitable for tabletop applications.
Features:
- Rep rate: CW
- Gradient: 10 MV/m
- Beam Energy: 1.6 MeV
- Bunch Charge: 1 pC max.
- Nb3Sn conduction-cooled
- Operation temperature 4K
