In early February, Euclid Techlabs expanded its R&D and Manufacturing facility located in Bolingbrook, IL. Nearly 3000 additional square feet were added for the growing assembly in ISO Class 7 clean room, ceramics manufacturing and UHV welding and assembly.
Euclid’s Bolingbrook facility is minutes from Argonne National Laboratory and Fermilab. We support full design (CAD through multiphysics simulation) and assembly (methodology, supply chain, validation) of some of the most demanding accelerator applications. One of our current projects entails the complete assembly, vacuum bake out, certification and hosting of on-site controls testing of vacuum chambers that make up stations of ANL’s CBXFEL. These chambers are then packaged and shipped to SLAC as part of Argonne National Laboratory’s (ANL) Cavity Based X-Ray Free Electron (CBXFEL) project.
